Who Was Chanakya ?

Generally Chanakya is called as  Kingmaker of Chandragupta Maurya .He was the Person whose policies made india as richest country in two aspects Spiritually and Materiasticaly(Wealth) .BORN IN 4TH CENTURY B.C. in India, Chanakya was also known as Vishnugupta
and Kautilya. Through the centuries, scholars have described Chanakya as a rare mastermind who became an expert in varied and specialised fields like management,economics, politics, law, leadership, governance, warfare, military tactics, accountingsystems, and several others. The 6000 sutras have been classified into 15 books, 150
chapters, and 180 topics by Chanakya himself.He was responsible for bringing down the Nanda dynasty and establishing his ablestudent Chandragupta Maurya on the throne as the Emperor. Hence, he is called a'Kingmaker'. He is also credited with masterminding the defeat of Alexander in Indiawho was on his march to conquer the world.As a political thinker, he was the first to visualise the concept of a 'nation' for the firsttime in human history. During his time, India was split into various kingdoms. Hebrought them all together under one central governance, thus creating a nation called 'Aryavartha', which later became India. He documented his lifelong work in his bookKautilya's Arthashastra and Chanakya Niti.For ages, rulers across the world have referred to the Arthashastra for building a nationon sound economics, based on spiritual values.Arthashastra when literally translated means 'scripture of wealth' but it containsknowledge about every subject under the sun. It's the knowledge of wealth and a wealthof knowledge.

The Science Of Thinking -Aanvikshiki

The Credit of This article goes to Kautilya's Arthashastra   Aanvikshiki—    I call it the science of strategic thinking. Some people call it critical thinking. R.P. Kangle, one of the profound scholars of the Arthashastra, called it philosophy. Aanvikshiki is also logical thinking, scientific thinking, inquiry and research. Swami Tejomayananda (the head of the Chinmaya Mission) in his classic composition Mana-shodham calls aanvikshiki a bhrama vidya—it is self knowledge, enlightenment and a path leading to self-realization, moksha, nirvana and mukti. Aanvikshiki is a Sanskrit word with various meanings. One has the freedom to interpret, reinterpret and even discover new meanings of the same word.
