The Boomrang Principle

The Boomerang Principle
Life is like a boomerang. Your behavior returns to you, your spoken words revolve and come back to you, whatever you give to the world comes back to you manifold, hence, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
If you want others to help you out in a crisis, then you must be by their side in their difficulties. If you give credit to others, you get the same in return. If you want appreciation, then learn to value others. If you despise others, you are going to get the same. When you admire others genuinely, you would be loved by others. To achieve your aspirations, you also need the good wishes and blessings of people. You only get these blessings and wishes when you do well and think of others’ welfare. These are the simplest principles of life, but even then, most people fail to follow them. Dale Carnegie says that the easiest way to win is to help others win
.
Here’s another story I once came across that I would like to share: A father was climbing a mountain with his young son. Suddenly the son fell and he screamed on getting hurt, “Ahhh!” Suddenly, a similar sound came from mountains, “Ahhh!”
The son was surprised. He asked, “Who are you?”
The voice replied, “Who are you?”
He couldn’t see anyone in front of him. So he screamed in anger, “Why are you hiding?”
The voice replied, “Why are you hiding?”
The shocked son asked his father, “What is happening?”
The father replied, “Dear son, today you will I earn the most amazing lesson of your life. Listen carefully."
He shouted, “You are great”. And the same words returned. Then he shouted, “I am your friend”. The sound was reflected, “I am your friend”.
His father said, “Son, this is an echo and this is the supreme principle of life.”
Whatever you get in life is a throwback of what you have done or said already. Life is only a a mirror of your actions. You get multifold results of your actions. So if you want others to shower love and affection, you have to shower love around you. If you want to receive praise, shower praise on others. This principle works in every field of life. Life gives you back everything that you give it.

The Science Of Thinking -Aanvikshiki

The Credit of This article goes to Kautilya's Arthashastra   Aanvikshiki—    I call it the science of strategic thinking. Some people call it critical thinking. R.P. Kangle, one of the profound scholars of the Arthashastra, called it philosophy. Aanvikshiki is also logical thinking, scientific thinking, inquiry and research. Swami Tejomayananda (the head of the Chinmaya Mission) in his classic composition Mana-shodham calls aanvikshiki a bhrama vidya—it is self knowledge, enlightenment and a path leading to self-realization, moksha, nirvana and mukti. Aanvikshiki is a Sanskrit word with various meanings. One has the freedom to interpret, reinterpret and even discover new meanings of the same word. The only rule is that the meaning of the word should help us elevate our thinking. As long as this is taken care of, one can give new dimensions and perspectives, depending on our understanding. Let us look at the word ‘dharma’. It means ethics, mora...
